Without being aware, we can't drive CHANGE.
You may think awareness is obvious, but you'll be surprised at how many opportunities there are for you to not even realize that something you are using daily is filled with toxic ingredients. Our skin is our largest organ and what we put ON it can be absorbed INTO it. It is hard to believe that there has been no major US federal law passed for the personal care industry since... 1938. Wow, that was a long time ago!
The European Union bans over 1400 harmful + questionable ingredients. The US bans only 30. Canada has a list of 600 chemicals of concern, however this restricted chemical list is not codified into law. Sadly, companies rarely follow recommendations - but they will all too often choose the ingredient that will save them $ - even at the expense of our health.
My hope is that this page brings you more awareness and trust with the product choices you make for yourSelf and your family.
